The Punjab Police Job Special Branch has announced open merit contracts (renewable) for three years for suitable candidates from all districts of Punjab, holding a domicile of Punjab. The positions fall under the category of Intelligence Operator (BS-07) and are open to both men and women, as well as minority candidates, constituting 15% of each.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Intermediate/Equivalent (At least Second Division) from a recognized Board
  • Age between 18 to 25 years

Incomplete or late applications will be rejected. The eligible candidates will undergo a physical endurance test, and successful candidates will be required to upload their documents to the Punjab Police website.

The recruitment process will be based on open merit, and candidates must meet the specified educational standards. A written test will cover General Knowledge, Basic Intelligence, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, and Quantitative/Computer Aptitude.

Successful candidates in the written test will be called for an interview in a 3:1 ratio. Psychological tests will be conducted for successful interviewees.

The initial contract period is three years, renewable based on satisfactory performance and compliance with established regulations. The last date for receiving applications is mentioned in the advertisement.

Government employees must apply through proper channels, and a NOC will be required at the time of the interview. The decision of the selection authority is final.

Candidates must pass a physical endurance test, and those successful at any stage will not be retested. The selected candidates may be posted anywhere in Punjab.

In case of objections, candidates can appeal to the Endurance Test Review Committee. The final merit list will be uploaded to the Punjab Police website, and successful candidates will be informed of further procedures.

The final selection is subject to a successful medical examination and verification of all relevant documents. Any attempt to influence the recruitment process will result in disqualification, and legal action may be taken.

The number of positions can be revised at any time by the department. Recruitment for these positions is based on martial arts skills obtained from the Armed Forces of Pakistan.
